Joe Viterelli (March 10, 1937 â?? January 28, 2004) was a character actor most famous for his role as Jelly in the 1999 comedy film Analyze This. Other roles invariably displayed him as a mobster, e.g. in The Firm (1993), See Spot Run, and Heaven's Prisoners among many other films.

Before he became an actor, Viterelli's former profession was a businessman in New York City. He had befriended director Leo Penn (father of actor Sean Penn) who persuaded Viterelli to pursue acting because of his unique looks.

He died at the age of 66 on January 28, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, due to a severe stomach hemorrhage.

His last role was as a mobster in a 2004 Super Bowl ad for Staples, Inc.

His last movie role was as "Jelly" in Harold Ramis' Analyze That.
