John A. Davis is an American animator who created the computer-animated television series Jimmy Neutron. He also directed the film Ant Bully after being approached by Tom Hanks to direct the film. He is also currentley in production with the movie Neopets based on the popular Childrens Video Game Series. Production on the 2 Films made John resign from Jimmy Neutron in January of 2003. He gave his posistion away as Executive In Charge of production to Steve Oedekerk the two Business Partners have been Associated with Various CGI Animated Projects for over 10 years. He met Steve in 1995 after a successfull time at Siggraph with his Jimmy Neutron character.

Before getting into CGI animation John began animating as a kid by using Stop Motion Animation and an 8mm Camera. He said after he went to an Animated Film Festival and saw this Stop Motion film called "Icharus". He was fascinated by the film and learned that he had animation supplies that his parents owned. Soon enough he began making little Stop Motion animation films [[1]]. His most famous Stop-Motion animated film "The Bremuda Triangle" [[2]] was made back in 1981 when John was still attending South Methodist University. He Graduated there in 1984 soon after he joined an animation company called K&H Productions working with Keith Alcorn who was a 2d Animator soon enough John had to make the hard transistion from Clayamation to 2d Animation where Keith Alcorn taught him how to work with 2d Animation. K&H did production work for Commercials, Public Access Animation, and Film Festival Films. However K&H Productions declared bankruptcy in early 1987. That same year DNA Productions was found in John's spare apartment. Since then DNA Productions has grown into a million dollar CGI Company.
