John Lafia is an American film and television writer, director, and producer. Lafia co-wrote the screenplay for 1988's Child's Play and directed Child's Play 2 (1990), as well as both writing and directing 1993's Man's Best Friend. In recent years he has transitioned to television, first directing a number of Babylon 5 episodes. He has also written and directed the NBC disaster miniseries 10.5 and its sequel 10.5: Apocalypse.
John Lafia attended UCLA where he received his Bachelors in Film.
