Total Recall: John Travolta's Best Movies
Some actors are lucky enough to make the jump from television to film stardom. Some are lucky enough to get their careers back on track after falling off the A-list. But how many stars have been able to do both -- and walk away virtually unscathed from the flaming wreckage of Battlefield Earth in the bargain? Only John Travolta, ladies and gentlemen. Travolta buddies up with Robin Williams in this weekend's Old Dogs, which inspired us to take a look back at a filmography far more varied than you might remember. Dramas? Comedies? Thrillers? Cartoons? Heck, Travolta's done 'em all -- and he's been doing it for more than 30 years, too. It's high time he got the Total Recall treatment, wouldn't you say?

Box Office Guru Preview: Travolta Faces Off With Denzel in 1 2 3
Two A-listers duke it out in North American multiplexes in the new action thriller The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta which will challenge last weekend's top films Up and The Hangover for a three-way race to the number one spot. Eddie Murphy also joins the fun with his latest family comedy Imagine That which will try to enter the top five. Overall ticket sales should once again fall behind last year's numbers, only by a much wider margin this time.

Bolt, the story of a canine TV star who finds himself on a cross-country journey when he gets separated from his owner, arrives in UK cinemas this week after a Certified Fresh opening in the US. We're celebrating its release with a trio of exclusive Behind-the-Scenes videos featuring our interviews with Bolt's executive producer John Lasseter, directors Chris Williams and Byron Howard, producer Clark Spencer and supervising animator Clay Kaytis as well as voice talent John Travolta, Miley Cyrus, Susie Essman and Mark Walton. With Lasseter now at the helm of Walt Disney Animation Studios as Chief Creative Officer, we explore whether the company that brought us Bambi, Snow White and Aladdin are now in a position to get back to the business of crafting classics. In our third and final featurette, we explore the casting of the characters and what John Travolta and Miley Cyrus bring to the voices.

Box Office Guru Wrapup: "300" Reigns Again as Box Office King
Three new competitors were no match this weekend for the mighty action epic "300," which easily defended its box office crown to rule North American theaters for a second straight time. Sandra Bullock reached a new career high with the thriller "Premonition," which debuted in third place while the horror film "Dead Silence" and the Chris Rock comedy "I Think I Love My Wife" opened in the top five with mixed results. "300" grossed as much as all three new releases combined.

Moviegoers rallied behind the star-driven comedy "Wild Hogs," which raced to number one at the North American box office, zooming past all expectations from Disney. Meanwhile, Viacom saw less-than-stellar debuts from its serial killer drama "Zodiac" from Paramount Pictures and the southern fried saga "Black Snake Moan" from arthouse unit Paramount Vantage. Overall, the box office remained healthy and surged well ahead of last year's performance.

Another frame packed with four new national releases is led by Oliver Stone's 9/11 drama "World Trade Center" from Paramount. A trio of lower profile pics round out the weekend - Sony's family adventure "Zoom," Buena Vista's teen drama "Step Up," and The Weinstein Company's horror flick "Pulse." For a while there it really looked like Fox's Dallas adaptation was going to be directed by Legally Blonde filmmaker Robert Luketic, but the guy left the project thanks to "creative differences," which enabled Bend It Like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha to step into the gig.
