Jon Polito (born December 29 1950) is an American actor, best known for working with the Coen Brothers. He also appeared in the first two seasons of Homicide: Life on the Street and on the first season of Crime Story. On October 20 2006, video-game blog Kotaku reported that Polito has been cast as the Master Chief in the upcoming Halo movie, based on the best-selling series of the same name, but production on the film was halted later the same month due to spiralling budgets.
