Jonathan Kaplan is a US filmmaker who was born on November 25, 1947, in Paris, France.
Career
His film The Accused (1988), which gave actress Jodie Fosterher first Oscar for Best Actress, also contained a controversial rape scene which Kaplan used to reinforce the social and political message of the script.
