Box Office Guru Preview: Vin Diesel and Gang Racing for #1 Spot
Universal makes a serious play at setting a new April opening weekend box office record with its street racing four-quel Fast & Furious which should lead the marketplace to a scorching spring frame. The only other new film attempting to steal away audiences is the quirky theme park comedy Adventureland which opens in about half as many theaters. With last weekend's champ Monsters vs. Aliens still doing strong business, the industry could for the first time in history see two films gross over $30M each in the traditionally slow month of April.

Our Favorite Fast & Furious Cars
The upcoming release of Fast & Furious marks the return of both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to the franchise that helped make them stars. For that matter, Michelle Rodriquez and Jordana Brewster are returning too. That's all well and good for the original cast to make their franchise comebacks, but for some of us, the Fast & Furious movies are really just about the cars. That's why we've put together a list of our favorite cars from each chapter in the series. We've picked out eight cars from each movie, and put them in a rough order that corresponds to when you see them on screen. Just think of this as RT's Fast & Furious "dream garage." And let us know which of these you would most like to have hidden away in your own garage.

Box Office Guru Preview: "Departed" Arrives with a Bang
Movie studios are offering something for every age group over the Columbus Day holiday weekend. Mature adults will go undercover with Martin Scorsese's cop thriller "The Departed," twentysomethings looking for a scare get the horror prequel "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning," while teenagers have a chance to laugh with the new comedy "Employee of the Month."

I was among the initially-skeptical and eventually-impressed who actually really liked Marcus Nispel's "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake. Trailer Bulletin: Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
If you're not a hardcore horror fan, this could get a little confusing: In the beginning there was Tobe Hooper's "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," and it was good. It was followed by sequels (of varying quality) in 1986, 1990, and 1994. Then came the remake, and that, too, was surprisingly good. And NOW comes a prequel to the remake, the trailer for which you can only watch after 10pm ... cuz it's spooooooky.

Critical Consensus: Annapolis and Momma Disappoint, While Nanny Casts an Innocuous Spell
Annapolis, the renowned naval military school, is an institution steeped in history; unfortunately, the movie can lay claim to that as well. Starring James Franco as a new recruit who needs to set his priorities straight, the movie's shopworn story and clich�s will remind viewers of "Rocky," "Top Gun," and "An Officer and a Gentleman," movies "Annapolis" can't favorably stand against. Currently at 10% on the Tomatometer, the best encouragement we can give "Annapolis" is better luck tomorrow.
