Jules Munshin (February 22 1915, New York City, New York - February 19 1970, New York, New York) was a song-and-dance man who had made his name on Broadway when he starred in Call Me Mister. When he was signed over to MGM, even though he was in successful MGM musicals, such as Easter Parade and Take Me Out to the Ball Game, audiences would always remember him as one of the trio sailors in the hit musical movie, On The Town, co-starring Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra singing "New York, New York, it's a wonderful town". Munshin died from a heart attack at the age of 54, three days short of his 55th birthday.
