Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett is a Canadian actress in TV and film.In Canada her first major starring role was as Colleen Blessed in Power Play (1998-2000). Her next major role was as Detective Elaine Bender in Blue Murder in 2004. Previously, in 2001, she played an unrelated character in the same show (Blue Murder), appearing as a suspect in serial killing investigation.Kari Matchett is known as a key member of the repertory cast of the A&E TV series A Nero Wolfe Mystery (2001-2002), in which she played numerous femmes fatale and had a recurring role as Lily Rowan. She made several guest appearances on Earth: Final Conflict, and in 2004 had a recurring role in the short-lived FOX Network series Wonderfalls.Her most recent work was on the ABC TV series, Invasion which premiered in the fall of 2005. The series was about aliens apparently taking the form of humans.Her most notable film role was in a movie about curling, Men with Brooms in 2002.
