Kelly Adam Asbury (born January 15, 1960 in Beaumont, Texas) is an American director, writer, actor and author. He is known for directing many different movies including Shrek 2 and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and is directing an upcoming movie entitled The Thief of Always. He has also provided some of the voices in Shrek 2. He has written a non-fiction book entitled Dummy Days, which is a biography of five 20th century ventriloquists. In addition, Asbury has written or co-written a number of short children's books. Asbury currently resides in Pasadena, California.
