Ken Gampu (1929 to 4 November 2003) was a South African actor.

Gampu was born in Germiston, South Africa.

Career

Before acting, Gampu had several professions: that of Physical Training Instructor, Furniture Salesman, Interpreter and Policeman. His first venture into the world of acting came with a role in Athol Fugard's first play, No Good Friday (1958).

Gampu's first big break in the film industry was with his lead role in the 1965 film Dingaka, directed by Jamie Uys.
