Laura Rogers (born March 10, 1979 in Wales) is a British actress. There are at least two other actresses currently working in stage, television and film who have the same name.
Laura Rogers was born in Wales on 10 March 1979. As a youngster she was a member of the West Glamorgan Youth Theatre Company and Upland Arts, the Swansea Gilbert and Sullivan society. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, where she was in the same year as Claudia Harrison, graduating in 2000.
Laura Rogers's highest profile roles to date have been single mother and former drug addict Sheena Williams in Series 7 of the British TV drama Bad Girls (in which her character developed a romance with fellow inmate Pat Kerrigan (Liz May Brice)) (2005) and Chastity Green in the BBC mini-series "The Sins" alongside Pete Postlethwaite (2000).
Laura has also played wing governor Helen Stewart in the stage musical version of Bad Girls, a role played (as a non-musical part) in series 1-3 of the television series by Scottish actress Simone Lahbib.
