Laurence Marks (born 8 December 1948 in Islington, London, England) is one half of writing duo Marks & Gran. He co-wrote the popular sitcoms, The New Statesman, Birds of a Feather and Goodnight Sweetheart with Maurice Gran.
Before writing television programmes, Marks was a journalist on The Sunday Times.
