Laurie Holden (born December 17, 1972 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an American actress. She is most noted for a minor role ("Marita Covarrubias") in The X-Files and co-starring with Jim Carrey in the film The Majestic but is also well known for her role of the police officer, Cybil Bennet in the Silent Hill movie.

She is the daughter of actors Larry Holden and Adrienne Ellis. Holden spent her freshman year at McGill University, and then transferred to UCLA to do a BA in theater arts.
