Lewis Wilson (1920 - 2000) was an American actor from New York City who was most famous for being the first actor to play the DC Comics character Batman (in live action) in a 1943 serial.

He graduated from Worcester Academy in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1939. His family had long roots with the school and his father and even grandfather were graduates. He left acting in order support his family soon after the Batman series. He worked for General Foods for many years.

In retirement, he lived in North Hollywood, California. He died in Los Angeles, California, aged 79 or 80.

He was married to novelist and occasional actress Dana Broccoli (also deceased). They had a son, film producer Michael G. Wilson, best known for his work on the new James Bond film series.
