Mai Zetterling [IPA: maɪ seteɭɪŋ] was an actress and film director born in Västerås, Västmanland, Sweden on May 24, 1925.

Zetterling was a successful actress in Swedish and English-language films before turning to directing. She also lived for a time in Australia.

She was involved in films in five different decades, from the 1940s to the 1990s. Her films as an actress included Quartet (1948) and Only Two Can Play (1962). Her last film role was as Luke's grandmother in the film adaptation of Roald Dahl's book The Witches.

As a director, she is perhaps best remembered for Visions of Eight, Night Games, Loving Couples, and The Girls.

She died in London, England, from cancer on St. Patrick's Day in 1994, at the age of 68.
