Margaret Hayes (born December 5, 1916 in Baltimore, Maryland; died January 26, 1977 in Miami Beach, Florida) was an American film and television actress, best known perhaps for her role as Lois Judby Hammond in the film Blackboard Jungle. She married actor Leif Erickson, but they divorced after a month. With her second husband, producer Herbert B. Swope, Jr., she had a daughter, Tracy Brooks Swope, who is also an actress.
