Mark O'Keefe is a comedy screenwriter for features and television. He wrote and produced Bruce Almighty, starring Jim Carrey (2003) and Click, starring Adam Sandler (2006). O'Keefe resides in Los Angeles. His brothers are Broadway and movie songwriter Laurence O'Keefe (also called Larry), composer and lyricist of shows like Bat Boy: The Musical and the upcoming Legally Blonde; and Seinfeld writer and producer Daniel O'Keefe (also called Danny). Their father, Daniel O'Keefe Sr., invented their private family holiday Festivus, which gained national exposure when depicted in an episode of Seinfeld (written by Danny), and which is now celebrated across the globe.
