Marla Gibbs (born June 14, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American actress, best known for her role as the sarcastic maid, Florence Johnston, on The Jeffersons, as well as the starring role of housewife Mary Jenkins in 227.

In the 1980s, Gibbs starred in a series of commercials for Accent brand seasoning.

Her sister was the actress Susie Garrett, who appeared on Punky Brewster.

Gibbs owned a Jazz club in South Central L.A. called Marla's Memory Lane Jazz and Supper Club from 1981 to 1999. She released a music CD "It's Never Too Late" in May 2006.

Gibbs also has a recurring role on the NBC daytime drama Passions as Aunt Irma.
