Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (born November 17, 1958 in Lombard, Illinois) is an American actress and singer of Italian descent.

Mastrantonio's first credited screen appearance was in Brian DePalma's Scarface as Gina Montana, sister of Al Pacino's Tony Montana. She achieved prominence in her Academy Award nominated role in The Color of Money, opposite Paul Newman and Tom Cruise. Her other featured roles of the 1980s include Slam Dance, opposite Tom Hulce and The January Man with Kevin Kline. She starred in writer/director James Cameron's science fiction blockbuster The Abyss with Ed Harris. Her most famous role, however, may be Maid Marian in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. She was cast as a late replacement for the pregnant Robin Wright.

She has since decided to only pick roles that interest her which gives her more time to spend with her family. As such her only high profile part since 1992's Consenting Adults was as a fishing boat captain in 2000's The Perfect Storm. However she did have a recurring role during the fourth season of the televison drama Without a Trace.

She has appeared on Broadway in various musicals, most notably, successfully and recently (2002-03) in a revival of Man of La Mancha as Aldonza/Dulcinea opposite Brian Stokes Mitchell in the title role.

Mastrantonio is married to director Pat O'Connor (who helmed The January Man) since 1990 and is based primarily in London. They reside there with their two children.
