Mary Gross Biography

Well-trained in the exacting school of improvisational comedy, Mary Gross was a regular on Saturday Night Live from 1981 to 1985. Her later series-TV credits include the roles of Abigail McIntyre Kellogg in The People Next Door (1989-90) and Phoebe in the 1992 Billy Connolly vehicle Billy. Mary Gross has made many a welcome comic visit to such big-screen fare as Troop Beverly Hills (1988) and The Santa Clause (1994). Actress Mary Gross is the sister of actor Michael Gross, with whom she appeared in the 1988 film Big Business. ~ Hal Erickson, Rovi
