Matt Frewer (b. January 4, 1958) has been a stage, TV and film actor since 1983, probably best known for portraying the 1980s icon Max Headroom.
Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Peterborough, Ontario, he trained at the famous Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and graduated from the three-year acting course in 1980.
He holds dual U.S./Canadian citizenship.
When not on location, he and his wife, Amanda Hillwood, and their daughter, divide their time between Malibu, California and the Gatineau Hills of Quebec.
