Along with Ian Roberts, Matt Besser and Amy Poehler, he was a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade and appeared as "Trotter" during its three season run on Comedy Central. Since then, he has appeared in movies such as Old School, and as a correspondent on The Daily Show.
In 2004, Walsh married actress Missy O'Reilly. His brother is Pat Walsh.
