Maurice Garrel is a French film actor, born on 24 February 1923 in Saint-Servais, Isère, France. Father of director Philippe Garrel and grandfather of actor Louis Garrel.

Garrel has appeared in over a hundred films.

He has been nominated twice for a Cesar Award.
