Michel Drach Biography

French director Michel Drach started out in the film industry as a teenage assistant director to his cousin Jean-Pieffe Melville, and by age 21 he was running Port Royal Films, his own production company. During the 1950s, Drach made three short films with the company. He then spent the bulk of the decade directing television shows before making his feature film debut in 1959 with On n'enterre pas le Dimanche. ~ Sandra Brennan, Rovi
