Mina Shum (æ²?å°?è?¾; pinyin: ShÄ?n XiÇ?oyì) (born 1966 in Hong Kong) and is an independent Canadian filmmaker. She is director resident at the Canadian Film Centre in Toronto. She was also a member of an alternative rock band called Playdoh Republic.

She graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Film from University of British Columbia.
