Niall Toibin was born November 21, 1929 in Cork, into an Irish speaking family on the Northside they lived in the Bishop's Field. He was educated at the North Monastery (North Mon) after which he left Cork for a job in the Civil Service in Dublin in January 1947. Ireland. Toibin is a comedian and actor.
From Ryan's Daughter and Bracken in the 1970s, to The Irish R.M. in the 1980s, and more recently Veronica Guerin, Ballykissangel, and Far and Away (movie), Toibin's entertainment career in television, film and theatre has spanned over four decades. Niall Toibin divides his time between New York & his home in Dublin, Ireland. He married Judy Kenny in 1957. Niall has five children and six grandchildren
