Nick Nolte Is an MMA Warrior
Nick Nolte will star as "an ex-Vietnam vet boxer-turned-steel mill worker whose family was torn apart by his alcoholism" in Gavin O'Connor's "Warrior," a drama which will see Nolte's character training one of his sons to compete against the other in a mixed martial arts tournament.

Tropic Thunder Cruise-ing for a Cameo?
It isn't next year's most buzzed-about movie, but judging from its cast -- which includes Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson, Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., and a presumably lucid Nick Nolte -- there's a lot of press in Tropic Thunder's future. And according to MTV Movies, there exists a distinct possibility that a certain high-profile cameo will add to the film's appeal.

Nick Nolte, Martin Short & More Sign On for "Spiderwick"
Man, I have a lot of books to catch up on. Looks like Nick Nolte, Martin Short, Mary-Louise Parker, and Joan Plowright will be joining youngsters Freddie Highmore and Sarah Bolger in Mark Waters' adaptation of Holly Black & Tony DiTerlizzi's "The Spiderwick Chronicles." (Got all that?) Andrew McCarthy and Isabella Miko are also on board.
