Nicky Siano (18/03/1955 - )was born in Brooklyn, New York. In 1972 at the age of 17 he opened the Gallery in SoHo, Manhattan with his older brother Joe. The gallery provided Nicky with his second djing residency, having djed at the Roundtable nightclub during 1972, a gig he got with the help of Robin Lord.

It was at the gallery that Nicky met David Rodriguez who would become his mentor and close friend.
