Nicole Wood is an American model, cosmetologist and entrepreneur. Nicole was chosen as Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for April, 1993, and she has appeared in several Playboy videos and special editions following her centerfold appearance. As of October 2006, Nicole continues to represent Playboy at various promotions.
Prior to her Playboy centerfold appearance, Nicole obtained her cosmetology license from the State of New Jersey. In 1992, Nicole enrolled in and matriculated from the prestigious Joe Blasco Cosmetic and Makeup Center in Orlando, Florida. This school has produced students, Greg Cannom and Ve Neill, who have won the Academy Award for Makeup.
Following her work for Playboy, Nicole became an entrepreneur. She owns and operates a day spa located in Westmont, New Jersey (a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) that she calls The Beauty Lounge, which caters to her select clientele, including Joe Millionaire finalist Sarah Kozer. As of May 2006, Phoenix, Arizona had been selected as the next location for The Beauty Lounge concept. Nicole plans to operate this location jointly with one of her Playmate sisters, Jennifer Walcott.
