Patrick Mower (born 12 September 1940, Oxford, England) is an English actor well known for many television roles, often as a police officer.
Patrick Mower graduated from RADA. He first came to prominence in the detective series Callan in the early 1970s. He went on to appear as DCI Tom Haggerty in Special Branch alongside George Sewell, and DS Steve Hackett in the police series Target, and featured in one of the last Carry On films, Carry On England. Many television roles have included guest appearances in Jason King, Space 1999, UFO, and The Sweeney.
In 1972 he was a regular panellist on the gameshow Whodunnit! and has also appeared in 'Dictionary Corner' on the long-running Channel Four series Countdown.
Since 2000 he has appeared in ITV's Emmerdale as Rodney Blackstock.
