Paul Barber Biography

Paul Barber (born 1952) is a British actor, best known for playing Denzil in Only Fools and Horses and Horse in The Full Monty.

Born in Ireland he moved to Liverpool when he was adopted as a young child and began his career in the musical Hair.

Porridge (1979) and The Long Good Friday (1980) were notable early, but small, film roles. He has worked extensively in British TV, such as Only Fools and Horses (1981 onwards) and Boys from the Blackstuff (1982), Malcolm in The Front line, Casualty and Cracker. Recent film work included playing one of the stripping steelworkers in The Full Monty (1997), and The 51st State (2001).

He made a guest appearance in the first episode of The Green Green Grass.
