Paul Fix (b. March 13 1901, Dobbs Ferry, New York – d. October 14 1983, Los Angeles) was an American film and television character actor, best known for his work in westerns.
He is remembered for his role as Marshal Micah Torrance on the TV Series The Rifleman, and as Dr. Mark Piper in the second pilot episode of Star Trek. He also appeared as the presiding judge in To Kill A Mockingbird in 1962.
Fix was a featured or bit player in 27 of John Wayne's films.
