Box Office Guru Preview: Vin Diesel and Gang Racing for #1 Spot
Universal makes a serious play at setting a new April opening weekend box office record with its street racing four-quel Fast & Furious which should lead the marketplace to a scorching spring frame. The only other new film attempting to steal away audiences is the quirky theme park comedy Adventureland which opens in about half as many theaters. With last weekend's champ Monsters vs. Aliens still doing strong business, the industry could for the first time in history see two films gross over $30M each in the traditionally slow month of April.

Our Favorite Fast & Furious Cars
The upcoming release of Fast & Furious marks the return of both Vin Diesel and Paul Walker to the franchise that helped make them stars. For that matter, Michelle Rodriquez and Jordana Brewster are returning too. That's all well and good for the original cast to make their franchise comebacks, but for some of us, the Fast & Furious movies are really just about the cars. That's why we've put together a list of our favorite cars from each chapter in the series. We've picked out eight cars from each movie, and put them in a rough order that corresponds to when you see them on screen. Just think of this as RT's Fast & Furious "dream garage." Eastwood's "Flags" to Open at the 19th Tokyo Film Festival
Clint Eastwood's "Flags of Our Fathers," the first of two films about the Battle of Iwo Jima, has been chosen to open the 19th Tokyo Film Festival, which begins on October 21st. The film will open stateside on October 20th, but it's a pretty big honor all the same.

Jason Mewes to Woo Paris Hilton?
The Hollywood Reporter brings news of what sure feels like one bizarre match-up. Jason Mewes and Paris Hilton will co-star in the romantic indie comedy "Bottoms Up," which is being produced by actor Paul Walker ("The Fast and the Furious"). THR provides us with the following synopsis: "Described as in the vein of "Swingers," the comedy drama tells the story of a Midwestern bartender (Mewes) who finds love with Hilton's character as well as money and success in Hollywood." First-timers Nick Ballo and Erik MacArthur wrote the screenplay, and MacArthur will be directing.
