Morgan Freeman Is a Lousy Wingman
Warner Bros. has bought an untitled comedy -- which already has Morgan Freeman attached to star -- about "an aging playboy who finally meets the love of his life and his best friend and wingman for the past 40 years (Freeman) who does everything to break up the new couple." Peter Segal is in talks to direct.

Peter Segal Leads a Pack of Wardogs
Ken Kaufman and David Agosto have sold an action-comedy script, provisionally titled Wardogs, to MGM. Peter Segal is set to direct the project, said to be "an action ensemble comedy in the vein of Ocean's Eleven, where the casting becomes an event."

DC Comics Movie Update: Watchmen, Flash & Shazam!
What with the Marvel Heroes always getting a lot of extra attention, the arrival of "Superman Returns" allows the other comics giant to get a little extra spotlight.
