Polly Platt is famous for being the first wife of film director Peter Bogdanovich. She worked with him on his first four movies (Targets, The Last Picture Show, What's Up Doc and Paper Moon), which many consider his best, as his production designer. Although many people believe that she did not get the credit that she deserved on those films, Bogdanovich certainly never reached the same heights again afterwards.
