Pooja Batra (Hindi: पà¥?à¤? बतà¥?रा, Urdu: Ù¾Ù?Ù?ج بترا) ,born on October 27 1973 in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian actress. She shot to fame in the early 90's when she was crowned Miss India in 1993. Her mother, Neelam Batra, was a participant in Miss India 1971. Her father was an army colonel. Early life

Career

Pooja turned down many offers before signing a contract with the Virasat Film Studio. She was the first Indian face to market a dandruff shampoo.
