is a Japanese actress, model and television presenter. She was born in Urawa (now called Saitama), in Saitama Prefecture. She is a graduate of the prestigious University of Tokyo and her talent agency is Oscar Promotions.  In addition to her public career, she has also volunteered for work with the UNHCR.
