Rick Overton (born 1954) is an American writer, actor, and comedian. His writing credits include Dennis Miller Live (for which he won an Emmy award), and his acting credits include Willow and The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne.
In the 2005-2006 TV season he appeared on Alias as a mad Russian and on Joan Of Arcadia in which he played God explaining to Joan, played by Amber Tamblyn, the meaning of real wealth.
Rick also portrayed both H.G. Wells and Orson Welles in an episode of The Radio Adventures of Dr. Floyd Podcast.
His parents are jazz pianist, composer and teacher Hall Overton and singer Nancy Overton.
