Robert Heath
Bio: Sir Robert Heath served King Charles I of England as Attorney General. In 1629 he was awarded a patent for the Province of Carolina which he was forced to abandon when he fled England for exile following the execution of the king and the creation of the English Republic under Oliver Cromwell.
