Romany Malco (born in Brooklyn, New York) is an American actor and music producer.
Getting his start as a rapper at age 7 under the name Kid Nice, he formed the rap group R.M.G. in his teens. The group moved to Los Angeles and changed their name to College Boyz. Under this name, Virgin Records signed the group, and their single "Victim of the Ghetto" went to #1 on the Billboard rap chart.
Later, Malco produced albums for artists such as Paula Abdul and CeCe Peniston and worked on film soundtracks. Malco was encouraged to start acting by John Leguizamo while he was working on the soundtrack to Leguizamo's film, The Pest.
