Ryne Andrew Sanborn [name pronouced Rine] was born on February 3, 1989 in Salt Lake City,Utah. He was the "child of light" in the 2002 Olympic Games in his hometown. He also starred as Jason in High School Musical. He is also credited in such shows like Everwood, Touched by an Angel and Not in this town. He currently lives in Taylorsville, Utah and attends Taylorville High School home of the Warriors. He plays hockey for Taylorsville as well as for the Utah Stars travel team. He has greenish brown eyes, black hair, is five foot nine, and wants to become an olympic champion.

He will be reprising his role as Jason Cross in High School Musical 2 coming soon in 2007.
