Sacha Gervasi was born in London in 1965 and co-founded the group The Diceheads but left before they became famous and better known as Bush.

He went on to pursue a career in journalism before turning his hand to screenwriting with The Big Tease which he co-wrote with Craig Ferguson. He also wrote The Terminal which was made into a film in 2004 directed by Steven Spielberg.

Moving to Los Angeles in 1995, Sacha attended the graduate screenwriting program at UCLA Film School where he twice won the BAFTA/LA scholarship although reportedly he never graduated.

He is currently co-writing Dallas with Robert Harling, due to be released in 2006. The film is stated to be about J.R. Ewing, the head of the most powerful energy company in the world, and the patriarch of a Texas oil clan who are as shady in their business deals as they are in the family politics.

It is believed that Sacha is the person known as Alex De Silva in the book How to lose friends and alienate people by Toby Young. [1].

He has a daughter, Bluebell Madonna born on 14 May 2006, with Geri Halliwell.
