Sara Simmonds Biography

Something of an indie film darling (and mainstay) during the mid- to late 2000s, fair-haired actress Sara Simmonds debuted with a supporting role in Alex Holdridge's slacker-themed romantic comedy Sexless (2003), then signed for her first lead as an adolescent girl plagued and troubled by bizarre spiritual visions in Nathan Todd Sims' Christian-themed thriller Echoes of Innocence (2005). Simmonds then played her first romantic lead as the soul mate of a washed-up Craigslist user, with whom she experiences an unforgettable New Year's Eve on the town, in Alex Holdridge's low-budget romantic comedy In Search of a Midnight Kiss (2007). ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
