Sharon Small Biography

Sharon Small (born 1967) is a Scottish actress.

Small is the oldest of five children; possibly her most well-known role may have been that of Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers in the BBC television adaptation of the Inspector Lynley Mysteries by Elizabeth George. Elizabeth George initially thought Sharon was too pretty to portray Sgt. Barabara Havers, but changed her mind after seeing how well Sharon played the character.

In addition to acting, Small is also a soprano singer and recorder player.
