Stefen Fangmeier, born in Delmenhorst, Germany, where he grew up, is a Visual Effects Director of many notable films including Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Saving Private Ryan, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He has been a Second Unit Director for two films: Dreamcatcher (2003) and Galaxy Quest (1999), and was nominated for visual effects work on Twister.
He is making his directorial debut on the film of Eragon, to be released in 2006.
