Stephen John Davies (born January 2, 1969 in Parkes, NSW) is a former field hockey striker from Australia, who participated in three Summer Olympics for his native country, starting in 1992. At each appearance the skilled veteran won a medal.

Davies, nicknamed China, played 274 international matches for The Kookaburras, resigning at the conclusion of the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. After wearing the number 15 jersey for over ten years he had the right to choose the player that would wear 'his' shirt when he stepped down from national representation. Davies made no hesitation in naming defender Bevan George as his successor.

He is currently competing for Great Britain at the 2006 European Championships in Athletics.
