Steve Cardenas (born Stephen Antonio Cardenas on May 29, 1974) is an American actor and martial artist most noted for playing Rocky DeSantos in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series. He was born at Langley Air Force Base, in Virginia, USA. (Although he was raised in Texas)
Steve replaced Austin St. John as the Red Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, and he later became the Blue Ranger for Power Rangers: Zeo.
Steve started training in martial arts when he was about 12 years old. He currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in karate. As of June 2006 he resides in San Antonio, Texas where he teaches martial arts.

- Steve owned a dojo in Valencia, California.
- Rocky was the second Red Ranger to appear in Power Rangers.
- Rocky was the first Red Ranger who was never the leader of the team. (Jason was the original leader, but gave over the position to Tommy during season 2.)
- Rocky was the only Red Ranger to not be included in the Power Rangers: Wild Force episode Forever Red. He was asked to be the Red Ninja Ranger that he portrayed in the third season of Power Rangers but declined due to being up to personal business in Philadelphia.
- He left the show after Power Rangers: Turbo started due to injuring his back while performing a stunt during the end of production on Power Rangers Zeo.
- Has won the Idaho state championship and the Texas state championship.
- Studied in San Antonio, Texas under the instruction of a former world champion.
- Was a member of a martial arts group called "The Warriors" who travelled the country, helping troubled teens.
- Did stunt work for Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie.
- Ironically, his character, Rocky was hanging out with Jason a lot in Power Rangers Zeo.
- Cardenas was a male cheerleader at Nampa High School, in his hometown of Nampa, Idaho.
