In October of 2010, Tanit Phoenix landed in Los Angeles. In the first week of Tanit being in LA, she went out on her very first audition and booked the leading role in HBO's new Anthology series, Femme Fatales. Tanit plays the mysterious british host, Lilith, who guides the audience through each espisode. Tanit also plays a different character in each episode.
Karmasutra nights was never completed, the film was edited and dubbed without ending the actual filming of the story. Whilst shooting in India, the producers of the original film, Maya, ran out of money stopped paying everyone involved in making the movie and the crew went on strike. None of the actors were ever paid, the director quit and the production company illegally leaked the uncompleted and badly edited film onto the net. The actors contracts were never fulfilled and the movie should never have been released. To this day, the actors are trying to remove their names from this distasteful badly edited project.
Tanit Phoenix and her family own an organic farm in South Africa, where they produce prganic, medicinal herbs, fruits and vegetables. Tanit developed a fascination with medicinal plants and went into further study and has plans to teach children the benefits of healthy organic living.
Tanit's father is a Quantum mind and Metaphysics lecturer.
Tanit is 100% Vegan.
Danny Trejo (Machete) 'adopted' Tanit Phoenix and took her under his wing while filming on Death Race2. He is her 'godfather' in Los Angeles.
Tanit Phoenix originally wanted to be an astronaut, she was fascinated by space and grew up dreaming of traveling to other worlds.
