Tara Lyn Subkoff (born December 10, 1972) is an actress and fashion designer. She attended Otis Parsons for less than a year and then dropped out.
She and Matthew Damhave were co-founders of the line "Imitation of Christ", which remade old clothes into new works of fashion. Matthew Damhave was said to be the conceptual genius whilst Tara was the master flea market shopper. They named their fashion line after a 15th century book by Thomas à Kempis with the same name. They have been worn by actresses such as Chloë Sevigny and Scarlett Johansson.
She has appeared in several movies, including 2006's The Notorious Bettie Page. She appeared in Blondie's 2004 music video for Good Boys.
She has been linked romantically to director Wes Anderson and to Sandra Bernhard.
